Oh oh! I think you might be running in to what I did when I replaced mine a few years ago. Did you get a new $2200 pump,or a rebulit $950 pump? The original on mine was an aluminum pump and can't be rebuilt. The one I ordered was a rebuilt cast iron pump. There's a kit that you can get from Agco for two hundred and some odd dollars to change from the old cast iron pump to the new aluminum pump. It has the different lines and fittings. There's no kit to change one the other way though,from aluminum to cast iron.
If you don't know which one you got,try to stick a magnet to the body of the pump. You'll have to check it back on the rounded belly of the pump,not the cap out on the end where the lines hook up. That part is cast on both of them. There was nothing I could do but send the cast pump back and pay the difference for the aluminum pump. I don't know what this site's policy is on returns of things like that,I got mine from Ag Parts First. Jerry was real accomodating on the exchange.
