Hey Oliver Guy, Nice Case CK you got there. Back when I was a kid in the 50s we had a lot of "earth eggs" like that one, and bigger. Some setting on top of the ground. We had a guy who liked to play with Dynimite. He made them much smaller so we could push them off the fields with a Case 310 dozer. Most of these bolders were not native to our local. They were left here as the glaciers receded. Most came from northern Canada. Some are "Canadian Rose Graneite". I have retrieved some of the peices for our flower gardens. I have been cutting wood off and on this fall, and have burned a 32' section out of the big pile plus some less seasoned wood of the trailers. I have a Royall Wood boiler in the garage, attached to my radiant heating system and a Fireplace Extrordinair centrally located in our home, which we burn part of the time. DHW is supplied with a solar system and a tie in to the heating system. I like cutting wood and try to keep a little ahead of my needs. LOL Pics. taken within the last few days.
