BW Have 12 equipped just like you are talking about. Driving consist of 70 mile round trip over to next town and ever now and then will pull a trailer with a KUBOTA rtv or something. No heavy hauling but I am not a light foot driver. Was running the 5 something v8 before. This vehicle has more get up and go. When you hit a long hill will just stay in 6th gear longer. Right now at 26,000 + miles if you hit the gas MPG on the dash over all never been tripped since it was new it reads 18.6 or so. But on some separate trips of 1200 miles or so I have had it read well over 20. If you change your own oil Ford moved the requirements on out but require senthic oil. Has a screwy air dam under the engine that has to be removed but all in all I love the trucks. I usually run around 65,000 miles and trade ever two years but am thinking I might stretch this one till the 15s with new body style comes out.
