My other comment got poofed so I will try this- In 1993 that 4960 cost roughly $85000-Corn was $2.20/bu in Jan-Feb-So it took 38636 bu to buy that tractor new in 1993. It sold for $114000 at the farm sale-Corn is $7.25/bu now so it took 15746 bu to buy that 20 year old tractor-we were happy with 150 bu corn in 93--now if we don't get 200 we are disapointed. So it took the corn off of 257 Acres to buy that 4960 in 93, today it took the corn off of 79 Acres to buy it---CHEAP TRACTOR!!!!!!!!
