Saw some other pictures of that lighthouse on the local Grand Rapids TV media stations. Neat pictures but nothing as impressive as that one. Alot of rain here overnight - ponding in the fields. Six to 8 inches of snow from a couple days ago now melted to an inch or two of slush. Many back roads are a sheet of ice. Thick fog here right now. Can"t see the sheep pasture 100 yards from the house. Temps supposed to drop like a stone later today/tonight. Dontcha love winter weather? I haven"t even seriously considered putting the snow plow on the old truck yet this season. There"ve been winters I had to plow the lane to even be able to get out hunting on November 15th.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
