Thanks for the pics, Sam. Ireland fascinates me, it is a beautiful nation from which my forefathers came. I hope to travel there one day. What little I know of my family is that the Carr's and the Moore's were from the south of Ireland, County Kerry to be exact. Michael Carr came to America sometime around 1900 and worked for the Katy RR, meeting Grace Moore in Sedalia, Mo. Michael told Grace he was 24 when they married and my great grandmother, Florence Mary was born in April, 1912. Grace and Michael welcomed their final child 20 years later, Eleanor. Michael passed away 4 years later and upon his autopsy Grace learned that her husband was not the man of 48 she believed him to be, but in fact a man judged by the corner to be 68 years of age. I like my grandfather bear this man's name as my middle, I understand that he was a quite a charismatic man.
