VERY LOUD ,to be honest they do a better job today venting the smoke ,Ir ecall nearly 20 yrs later SMOKEYand UNHEALTHY,was the complaint there by the gals , Us Fellas loved watching regardless ,it was neat seeing all the different motor configurations on the hotrods..the ROLLS ROYCE and ALLISON airplane motors were awesome .. today hotrods are nearly the same. but the event still draws a sellout crowd each year .. but not me ,.all that hi po noise has everyone on a level playing field now .. When Pullin was begun, before it Evolved to modern times , it was exciting to see tractors that could still pull a plow all day after competing ,,truks that you saw at the feed store and stockyards were pulling with a license tag on the bumper.. that SHOW to US GUYS was Worth our 30 BUCKS in 1980,and even our wives did not mind the smoke and noise , because we were seeing what we could easily relate to competing ,,.
