JML Good for you. I may be an old curmudgeon, but if I were conducting a meeting or class all phones would be turned off. Anyone taking a voice call or text would be asked to take it outside the room and not come back. If I were in a good mood I would take a 5 minute break at the hour for people to stretch their legs and check for calls.
I do not text, have put a block on incoming texts. When I attend a meeting or class I turn my phone off, or even leave it in my car. Willie
