truely the ultimate plow tractor for 1922 ?,, the yr. my mom was born .my great uncles said thne motor was very dependable .and ready to go in a instant ,, they were used to having to build a fire and a FULL head of steam in those days ..the pointer on the steering always makes me smile... sometimes i wisht i had one on the DC when out in the muddy cowlot ..LOL .../technology was movin in leaps and bounds , the case l and cc were about to come out in less than 10 yrs ...the jd model D was the longest yr build of any ever built ,..probably the most notable change for deer is when the 2 cylindar motors were retired and deer decided the rest of the tractor world was RIGHT ,. still like hearin the ol johnny poppers ..especially when they are backin up a wagon or somethin at hi idle,, seems like the governor is very touchy ,, makin the ol deers quite a preacher
