We have it, and use it some, but I ussually skip right to the torch to either heat it up or cut it off. Time is money, and time wasted on a bolt you're gonna replace anyway is pointless. Only ones worth saving are the big ones that cost an arm & a leg...
I have very good luck getting broken bolts out too. Not with easy outs, but with a welder. Do it all the time at work and the farm. At work, they know to just save time and give it to me right away instead of trying any other methods. I can ussually get them out in a matter of 30 seconds, once the welder is turned on.
