J.D. that is the pits and not right! The thing that just sends me to the moon is do you think that McDonalds is broke? These modern day soft handed bean counters only know one thing and that is profit margin. Since none of them have ever had to schedule help, deal with the public, flip a burger,clean a floor and here is the biggie, put up with druggies they don't have a clue. With their profit margins they could absorb this expense and never feel it. We used to have a way to deal with this kind of nonsense in this country, we called it labor strikes, but thats gone away with common sense and loyalty, just my opinion. Again I am sorry, you have to admire young people wanting to work and make it on their own.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
