I thought it was a very entertaining game--better than many of the Super Bowls I have watched. I am not a huge professional sports fan, but I enjoy a game where the teams are very well matched and the outcome of the game is not determined until the very last seconds. Mission accomplished last night!
It will be interesting to learn what happened with the power outage. It seemed to me that the long break shifted the momentum to San Francisco"s side, and changed the second half of the game. I didn"t care that much who won, but expected a San Francisco victory. I was disappointed with the non-call of pass interference that I thought was so obvious when San Francisco was trying to score that last time. I am, in general, not too pleased with refs in most sports...their decisions are far too subjective.
I wasn"t that thrilled with the commercials this year. Nothing really stood out to me as very memorable. Not like some years when the commercials are better than the actual game.
I didn"t pay that much attention to the halftime show. I don"t really like that kind of "singing" if you want to call it that. It was a good time to eat supper, which I did.
I think I have watched at least part of each of the Super Bowls through the years. I would give this one a good, strong B+.
