My dad plowed with a 4-16 for years behind his 560 diesel with a 2-point fast hitch plow. So yes they are good for plowing. The 560 he bought new and it was his main big tractor until 1991 when he held sale. He did buy adaptor arms that slid into the two point hitch (plus a top link) for on the 460 to use on his 3-point bush hog. The adaptor arms then slid on the two pins on the bush hog and then you just connect the top link like any other 3-point hitch.
