Yes, you can see the spring and replace just by
removing this cam cover. You need to purchase a
new spring from any Kohler engine dealer/Cub Cadet
dealer first. Then look at a picture or actual cam
to see how it looks. The little tab that lifts the
exhaust valve can also be adjust if needed through
this cover. Good luck!
