Somewhere around 17000 lbs setting on a 14000 Lb GROSS weight trailer and TWO chains that i see holding the load on . Oh yea smart and ya wonder WHY the DOT is coming down on the little guy????? Two on that trailer would be pushing the limits of it . And to haul them correctly you would need three chains and FIVE binders each. I hauled a lot of New Cat Skid steers out of N.C. and before you could leave the plant they inspected each and everyone for proper tie down . If there was no attachment (bucket) then two chains and four binders with Attachment you had to add the another chain and binder over the bucket. Same as hauling tractors with loaders or if you have something hooked to the three point it must be chained down . So you load a tractor with a loader and ya have a rear blade or say a brush hog hooked to the three point to keep everybody happy ya need four binders on a four point hook one over the loader bucket and atleast one over what ever is hooked on the back.
