That happened to a friend of mine with a 16' trailer. Guy bought it at auction for $400. Didn't come pick it up. After two YEARS, they find out the buyer had died about a month after the sale. Nobody in the buyer's family wanted it, so the seller gave it to my friend. It sat about another year, then I - in turn - got it from him (for free). I picked it up from the same spot it had sat in at the auction....
