I've had a few 7.3 trucks. My 94 was sold to my son at 176,000 and only had put the torque converter in it. He sold it at 189,000 and bought a 91 dodge. The guy that bought it ran it to 279,000 and sold it to another guy and the last time my son talked to the guy it had 495,00 and he just put the trans in it and he put universal joints in it because he new we had not done that. I had a 99 and it only had 70,000 when it was totaled. My 96 has 330,000 on it and is running good. Trans was replaced around 110,00 because the front trans seal went out because I towed empty trailer without pushing the tow button in and didn't know the trans was leaking oil. Have a 06 6 liter and you can have that piece of junk. Never buy another ford diesel truck.
