Shell has ROTELLA, Castrol is called RTX or RT, Kendall has SUPER-D in various weights. These are supposed to be for both gas and diesel. The "C" ratings are for diesel; you will notice that these brands of oils have a higher diesel rating and have all the approvals from Mack, Cummins etc. A "C" rated oil must be used for diesel and these are good. You don't need this kind of oil in a gas engine, just use a good SJ oil either 10-30 or straight 30 in Arizona summer; Castrol, Sunoco, Texaco everbody makes these. Sorry I just don't get your point. I don't have much money but I spend more than the savings you are talking on cokes every day. Why would you buy less than the best for something that suffers like an engine in that climate (I'v been there). I know people who buy food they don't like just because its cheap. Not me and I am cheap.
