Guys, Back in 1987 I helped move a 9 tower Valley tow-able Sprinkler about 35 miles. Used the Gooseneck hitch in the back of my pickup as a platform to put a 4 ft vertical extension to pull each of the 9 spans. The Valley Tower assembly has a female 2 in ball receptacle that holds a standard 2 in trailer ball on the next tower. Anyway, simply towed the towers with my pickup, and we had two guys with a long pipe thing manually steer each tower around the corners. A couple, we were able to veer, or swing wide to make it work. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
