The best I have found is Briggs & Stratton gas stabilizer. They clain over 2 years life when using the heavy "storage" dosage.
It helps if you can store the gas in a pressure sealed container in a cool place. Helps prevent the evaporation of the light ends of the fuel.
A sealed tank makes a huge difference. a relative has a gas engine powered post hole digger. The thing is designed to lay flat after use, so the fuel filler cap has a little screw tight vent to prevent leakage when the tank is laying on it's side. When in storage this screw vent is closed and amazingly, the gas stays fresh rfor years in that sealed tank !!. Maybe a small engine shop could get you a sealed cap with screw tight vent to fit your generator ??
