Did that on one last year. I took the generator off first, then worked the fan belt off through the hard places. It certainly wasn't an easy job. i almost cut it off, but wanted to be sure I could get the new one on. if you HAVE to change it, just cut it off. I had the hood off and the sheet metal around the radiator off as well, I might have even loosened the bolts on the radiator, although I didn't take the radiator off. That tractor was one of the meanest tractors I ever worked on.everything was a major PIA. Good luck
