Did his parents die in the fire? The kids parents should be with the kid even if they have nowhere to live, parents need to take care of their own kids. That was real nice of you to give him a coat.
Back in the mid 80s A buddy of mine and his wife went to a orphanage, when they walked into this place every child (all ranging in age of 3 to 8) ran to them similar to how a bunch of puppies would run to a person walking into a pet store. All these kids needed homes, their own beds, and of course parents that love them. This buddy of mine and his wife left, his wife was in tears knowing that she could not help all of them and that these kids needed real homes.
