Here is a pic of our family homestead with my dad holding the rains to Dan and Major. Dad died last spring on Mothers Day. He would have been 92 in June. The second pic. is of the Case Dealership he built in 1948 on property along side US RT 20. Pic was taken about 1950. Dad biult a new house in 1954 where you see the old delapicated building, and that is where he died. I live adjacent to the dealership in the open area just up the side road which bares our name now. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
