I just change the whole thing with a new one. I had friends that had the one with the spin on cartridge. They were always froze up in the winter. When I ordered my new Pete back in 2000 I had them put the old AD-9 on it got changed for the first time about a year ago. The guy that does my inspections said the corrosion on the aluminum doesn't pay to replace parts in them. The valves won't seal.
