The other day you had inquired about watering plants in raised gardens. What I did last year I used an 8" hand operated post hole digger and dug about dozen holes in the garden, as I put the dirt back in I sprinkled in miracle grow with it. The plants did excellent during the drought, I did water every night though. Could of gotten by with every other night. The dirt in the holes sunk about 6 inches and this held water for a good part of 6 hrs. I put 3 gallon in each hole. My plants never wilted. When my foot gets better I want to do it again this year but I'm going to fill the holes with cow manure
