We have one just like him named "Harold".He is just getting a full tail and has really started showing it to his girlfriend "Herman".My 6 year old named Herman before we found out he was a she!They make the BEST watchdogs,nothing moves much in our yard without them smoking it over to see what is giong on.If they dont like the situation they will start spitting, popping,hollering and bowing up like they are the biggest birds on the planet.Great birds to have around and very beautiful.By the way,for those of you that dont know peacocks if you want to see what you are made of just walk up to one and grab it expecting to camly walk away with it and you will be in for a rude awakening(I found this out the hard way).They are Gorilla strong, I thought our female was going to beat her way out of a plastic dog carrier on the way home.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
