We went out for lunch after church at country restaurant down south of town. They have a good salad bar and fried chicken buffet. Salad with some pickled okra and beets then a couple pieces of chicken, some mashed taters and gravy, cooked carrots and a roll, all homemade. Then a piece of warm cherry pie with icecream for desert. It was delicious. On the way home we stopped by the store and picked up a few things, having homemade mac n cheese, asparagus and some thick kc strips for supper. The girl scouts were selling cookies outside the door of the grocery store so I had to bring home a couple boxes.
