Nope don't own one and never will. I've been a professional wrench turner. I will never own a Chrysler produce with good reason! Add in that in 3 tours in Germany I also worked on a fair number of Fiats......nope never again. I know you love yours and that's fine. Just don't expect everyone tho think that Ram is great.
As far as the 1/2 truck with diesel is concerned, I think it will flop. The average buyer of a new 1/2 ton pickup is female, between the ages of 28 and 35 who lives in the city. The first time one has a problem with the fuel gelling up or the expense of a bad injector she is going to tweet everyone she know. This decision may wind up coming back to hurt Fiat. And that's what it is, not a Ram, not a Dodge, it's a Fiat. In my mind it now falls into the same group as any other foreign made vehicle, even those with plants in the US. I'd rather give my money to a US based company.
