The cart situation has always been a debatable issue at our local threshing show, as it has at other shows. Our show is not especially THAT big compared to some others but we do cover something like 40 acres of actual show grounds including field activities. Add parking lot to that and it's in the area of 50-55 acres. Some are owned by the show and some are brought in by others. Two or three of them cover the field activities alone depending on the size of the crowd. It takes more responsible manpower to run these things, and I put the word 'responsible' in there for a reason, but the feedback from the show visitors is very positive. It's amusing, though, that the ones who whine about walking the most are the ones who are the most able to walk. Jim
