WE DID WIN WW2. Which is why the thing is made in Germany and the engine in France! I suppose (if things had gone the other way) that beats the Deere Company being owned by Germans. Oh well, welcome to global economics. On the brighter side, think of what happened to Minneapolis-Moline and Oliver, not to mention poor Allis-Chalmers; bought out by the friggin Frenchies at Duetz. Allis (and I'm a Deere person) deserved better.
