Need to source low pressure a non collapse return hose from the valve to the filter housing on the 28 ton huskee log splitter. Barbed fittings and clamps, which I would love to change out to a regular hose and fittings that thread in, future consideration.
Its kind of funny as I think I have seen the correct hose for this after searching the net, seems there is heater hose on it now, previous owner or maybe it came that way, not cutting it.
What would be the best hose for a return line, I assume Napa would have this ? Bunch of selections on their site, looks like a Gates product or maybe Aeroquip, thinking of that I believe there is a local dealer. I'd like to source the steel coil protection for the hose too, darned elm log jumped off the log pan and punctured the hose, note to self weld a curb on that ! Not a bad splitter but I have ideas for modifications !
