Been looking at Kubotas for cleaning the barn and mowing large areas, something in the B or BX series with a loader and a mower deck. Turns out there are about 5 dealers within an hour drive of my place and there seems to be quite a few used ones available around the state. I've not really heard a consistent bad word about them. My company has a large office complex and have used the same couple of small Kubotas for 20+ years. More recently have added a JD or two but the old Kubs are still cranking.
I'd consider NH, JD, Cub Cadet or Yanmar but only one dealer for each close. The JD dealer is the state's mega dealer used to dealing in the big stuff, so I wonder about their service for the little guy (although they do have a used BX2320 that seems like a decent asking price). I always thought that green and yellow paint was a bit overpriced too. Mahindra actually has two dealers nearby but not very many used ones available in the small size I want.
I'm past the made here / made there arguments, give me something that gets the job done reliably.
