As per the Chilton's truck manual both the Chev and the IH used the same transfer case as in the New Process 205 so then best back track boy. Oh by the way both companies used more then one brand of transmission Like Muncie, Warner etc. So it i not a matter of being a IH or Chev part as such but what each company used that where in fact the same
