Saturday I took this picture of the Stines corner hotel, It is not open for years, but it used to be a general store, hotel, bar, and post office, Everything is pretty much still original inside. The bar has a pressed metal tin cieling, all the shelves are still in the store. Years ago every little town in the area had a simalar place. Some of them turned into yuppie resturants, some are empty,a few are remodeled and run as stores,There is one in the town of Werleys corner that the township historical society made into a museum. This one,a family does live in part of it,They sometimes sell honey on the porch, The bar entrance is under the sign and the store and post office is on the left side in the first picture.
