I’m within an hour of Pennsylvania, Randy on the west side. Assuming that’s where you are from your name. Hay prices have retreated a couple percent in the past couple of weeks, I’d say they peaked in late Feb. They are the highest I have ever seen in watching hay prices for the last 10 years. My only advice to you about buying hay toys is do not make any decisions on purchases using current prices. Unless mother nature throws another drought at us this summer, hay prices will retreat. I do think high row crop prices will be with us for the next few years, so that should continue to put pressure on available hay ground, so producing good hay will continue to be profitable. However, the $8-9-10 per bale prices out there now are short-lived in my opinion, subject to weather.

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
