Bring it east- it's $200 or so here near Lancaster. I have been asking $60 a bale for 700# 4x's, and folks have been happy to get it. If I store it outside, I've been getting $40-50. Inside, good for horses, $60. It comes out to about $180/ton. There's too much variance in round bale density to sell it by the bale unless the buyer is willing to guesstimate the weight, so by the ton is a much fairer measure of value.
