A tad more. Down here a chicken magnet by the name of Bo Pilgrim is in the egg and chicken business big time. He made an advertising statement once about his Pilgrim's Pride eggs. He said that he wanted a healthy source of amino acids and other things that he could feed his family....lots of B vitamins.
He developed this special diet for special chickens with the intent of doing just that in the eggs they produce. His store bought eggs have an orange yoke (which I'm sure you know speaks for itself) and you can just about throw them at the skillet and they'll bounce, not melt into mush. The yokes stand up tall in the skillet like a young.....well you get the idea.
There are others doing that too, but this guy is great and he does wear the "uniform" of an American Pilgrim when he advertises his products. Real cute; big belt and buckle, boots and hat to match.
Something else about eggs, maybe we should open an OT thread on here and ask the question as to how old your family members live to be. Since most of us are farmers and eat those"unhealthy" things like eggs, milk, butter, sausage and bacon, drink coffee, etc. would be an interesting show of hands that there is nothing wrong with these super foods if you'd get off your duff, out from the TV and get out and get some exercise (do some real work) and fresh air. I know lots of elders pushing the century mark around here and that sure beats the national average of 86 as I recall.

The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S
