One fun thing each year at the Florida Flywheelers is seeing all the doodlebugs and allllllll sorts of home made ride around contraptions, Ive seen so many different things there cant keep track, there are literally hundreds of ride around devices......The lawn mowers are so freakin noisyyyyyyy,,,,,big Mules and gators etc are so big and wideeeeee (usually the dudes who stop in the dead middle of the aisle and get off and block traffic grrrrrrrr),,,,,,,,golf carts are at least quieter and smaller them mules n gators...
One of the more unusual was a six sided wooden picnic table complete with sun shade umbrella, coolers and small gas grille in the middle AND WAS MOTORIZED they drove it where they wanted and had their lunch lol
Plenty of 4 x 4 even articulated riding lawn mowers,,,,,Plenty of Whizzer motorbikes,,,,,,,,,a big wide zero turn on huge hay rake wheels n tires where the driver sat on a porch type seat that swings back n forth as he turns cats a$$es lol
Of course, if we dont like the ride arounds or the rules we can choose to not attend..but all those contraptions n doodlebugs are part of the fun sights for me
