Seriously Loren, take it easy and follow your Doctor's advice. I know exactly what your going through, I've had several mini-strokes, my last about 12 years ago. I never had high blood pressure, mine were from arterial plaque. There MAY be some lasting side effects, each case is different; with me it's short-term memory loss and a very occasional slight drool that's usually not noticeable by anyone else. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
