I understand how you feel. When I worked at a dealership the man who cleaned and washed cars came in one day in a t-shirt and it was quite chilly. His wife had kicked him out, (not his fault) and all he had at the time was just what he had on. I had worn a heavy flannel shirt that morning but didn't need it inside, so I said here, wear this. that evening when we were leaving he handed it back to me, I said, "just keep it." The owner, who was a lady, let him spend two or three nights in the dealership. I guess he slept on a couch in the showroom.
