Friday I went by neighbors pasture which somebody had been cutting with a rotary mower. The pasture was on fire with the fire department there and side road blocked. Saturday I went by and saw that much more pasture had burned, which was ok, forested area was safe. Went down side road toward creek and saw that tractor had burned in the pasture. I had seen earlier from a distance that it was a red tractor, cab, loader with spear, 3ph bush hog on back. Neighbor is not in good health and sold cows and had rented the pasture AFIK. Don't know yet the cause of the fire. Thursday had been rainy, clearing and windy and the dead broomstraw(called little bluestem in the midwest) had gotten dry, fortunately it wasn't too windy Friday.
