When you get to be world superpower, there tend to be a few perks. Deciding who has nukes and trying to inforce it is one of them. Russia too wanted to be a world superpower, but thankfully communism doesn't work that well. On top of that, the US was on it's way to being a superpower before Russia. Your country was built on all men being free, not freedom of religion. I doubt many religions other than Christianity and Judaism existed in America at the time of the revolution, and those two religions get along. America has to do what's best for it on the international level. They have to deal with all threats that threaten their freedom and way of life. What you should really realize is that Islam requires it's followers to kill all Infidels. It should be outlawed on that basis alone. Americans would have absolutely no problem with Islam if they would adopt the "Live and let live" policy. DON'T even respond to that. It's religious and beyond off topic and will get things poofed. No body played the religion card until you posted. You may remember some news about a State Rep. Hans Hunt responding to a letter written by some lady from Virginia. She went to Wyoming to have a better life for her family, and then wants things to be the same as Virginia. People come from the middle east to get away from all the crap that exists there, and want to start the same crap here. They come for change, and then not only refuse to change, but want to force their ways on others.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Not a place one would associate with farms or farm machinery. I credit my parents for instilling a lot of good values, a respect for learning, a knowledge of various skills and a little knowledge of farming in me, amo
