I quite often use a chainsaw to clean fence rows and the last few years have begun heating again with firewood. Although still useable, the 20+ year old Homelite was showing it's age and also wanted something bigger to fell larger trees rather than borrow my friends Husky or Sthil. Determined I couldn't beat the price on new Poulan so bought a Poulan pro for about $130 and have ran the snot out of it. Worked so well that I also bought a smaller Poulan for $99 to replace the Homelite which is semi-retired. No problems with either saw. Don't run ethanol gas. Friend does and has had problems with carbs/fuel lines in both of his saws. Buy cheap saws and don't use ethanol gas.
