I have a sign hanging in the shop that says "If It Ain't Broke We'll Fix It 'Til It Is"! As careful as a person may try to be, sometimes stuff like that just happens, like the local wrench quite a few years ago that was zipping various bolts out of a 95 John Deere combine engine which was hanging from a hoist while yakking with another customer and zipped out one of the bolts retaining the lifting chain. That did NOT go well, and he found out the a replacement cast iron oil pan as NOT cheap!
Back to the IP... if it doesn't have a lot of hours on it, and need a lot of other work, that MAY not be a big $$ fix at the pump shop. HOPEFULLY, the governor housing is not cracked or otherwise damaged beyond use!
WORST part will be R+R'ing it in the confined space of a skid!
