Mike; We could never figure out the reason for the feeling. The thing that always bothered Marg was I recived the award as the outstaning State 4-Hclub meember. The award was a exhiit sponsored by a local TV station and a trophy to be given at the program in th hippidrome. I had always told Marg that when th time came to walk out and get the trophy she was going with me. She had told her folks he would like them there. They had to go to Nebraska an buy cattle that week end. I alway felt it was a contrast in faming methods. Dad & I were on a mall farm andrentig land and using every one of th layest method to sgueeze the milk out of those cow. Her parents were on a farm with his father.It was 160 aces of deep Tiled farm land They always had a bumper crop. Her father alway had a banker that would allow him to go direct to the ranch and buy top feeder. He was good snd oftrn toped the Omaha market. Margery mother raaised laying hens and provided egg to the local grocer to be able o buy grocieries. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
