Did it ever matter if Margery' folks accepted our marriage. Tt was between her and I. After five years Dad had the opputunity to Sub-divide the farm and alway said he made more money than he ever did farming. I wentt to work for one of the farm Machinry companies. Marg and I started a steel fabrication business. I was awarded a Patent and we shipped tgrough out Centeral U.S.Not only could she drive a tractor on the baler but she could drive a gooseneck through ciy traffic with a load of steel, keep the books and soll. I went down with metal fume fever. Had a 50% disability WE decided to get a itle farm and ssome Guernsey cattle and nake cheees.
