If you get that one from the salvage yard, make darn sure the guys in the yard remove ALL the parts of the clutch... Most of the clutch can be removed from the tractor very easy, just unbolt and pull it off. BUT the special M&W hollow pinion gear is inside the tractor and not easy to remove. The right way to remove the pinion gear & carrier assembly is to take off the top cover, pull the left axle out of the bull gear, move the gear out of engagement with the pinion gear and then the pinion gear/carrier assembly can be pulled out of the side of the tractor. The easiest and quickest way would be to just pull the pinion gear carrier out without moving the bull gear, you will break the pinion gear carrier but that is not a big deal as all you need is the hollow pinion gear.
I have had people come to me looking for that special M&W hollow pinion gear after they bought the clutch from a salvage yard and that gear was not included.
