Well, LOL I have been knocked out so many times I could not count them all.
Several times where when I was in the service. Funniest was when another DI and I where horsing around when racing to the mess hall. I turned my head just as I approached the door to the mess hall. Some one open the door just as I looked back toward the door just in time to run full bore in the edge of a heavy metal door. I knocked myself out cold. LMAO Several weeks later I was running a unit through small arms training when the other DIs came carrying in a metal door all painted up with this on the side "Beware Danger to Senile OLD men". We all had a good laugh about it. That door stayed on the range until I retired.
On the farm I have had my butt handed to me several times by livestock. The most painful was when I was bedding some heifers. They where about 5 weight calves. One of them Jacka$$ kicked me just as I was in front of a barn post. Both her feet hit me in the privates against the barn post. I was out like a light. The next day my man boys where swelled as big as grapefruits, black and blue too. I could not wear jeans for a week. Even sweat pants hurt. Walking was a lot of fun too. Lets just say the wife was in NO danger from me for a while. SHE thought it was funny. Women have a warped sense of humor.
Another time was when I was a kids showing my younger brother how to hit a base ball. I was standing behind him and he swung the bat. He missed the ball. HE had swung so hard his follow through turned him clear around and he hit me square on the head with the bat. I had a knot for a week over than one too.
The wife always said I did not have any sense left as it all had been knocked out. LOL.

Today's Featured Article - Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
