Pulled in the lane this afternoon after 11 days on the road. The main goal of the trip was to visit a landlady in New Orleans. She's an old family friend who's been widowed awhile and is pretty lonely so we decided to pay her a visit for a few days and get out of Iowa's cold at the same time. Started out on March 7 and went to my sis's house in Bettendorf, visiting an old neighbor family in Jefferson on the way. From Bettendorf we went to Clarksdale, Mississippi to see Marilyn's brother and sister-in-law. She's fighting cancer and needed some support. After that we went to New O for a few quality days with the landlady. She'll be 91 soon. Then it was off to Pittsburg, Mo to visit friends. They recommended the cheese place in Osceola, Mo so we stopped and sampled. The mistake I made there was to sample a cheese before I looked at the red tag that said VERY HOT! Wooeee. Couldn't taste the rest of the samples after that. It's kind of in the neck of the woods where Old lives. Rich would probably eat that hot stuff like candy, but not me. If we would have had the time I'd have found out where a bunch of you YT'ers live so we could visit but it couldn't be that way this time, sorry. I have one souvenir, an alligator head that's sitting on top of the computer tower. Gonna spook out the granddaughters. My chocolate lab was scared of it LOL. Jim

If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
