Is a poor short drawing 11.3 amps or the brakes proper? I've got a short somewhere in my trailer wiring harness. I've been from one end to the other twice and fixed a few bad splices but no shorts, its still not letting my brakes apply correctly. This summer its getting flipped over to get some rust repairs and hope to find it. I'm beginning to suspect the breakaway battery wiring.
